Why is the company called 'Jade'?

Jade Chocolates is a specialized company that uses teas, spices and tropical fruits from Asia and the Pacific Islands into our products.  Jade is a gem that is highly regarded and widely used throughout all of Asia.  it is also an auspicious symbol of good luck.  

What is the shelf life of your products?  

The shelf life of our products are as follows:

Chocolate Bars                                  9-12 months 
Chocolate Covered Mangoes                  6 months

Chocolate Covered Ginger                      6 months

Rice Paddies                                           2 months
Truffles                                                   2-4 weeks

What do you use as a chocolate base?

We are using a mixture of E. Guittard (California) and Valrhona (France).

Which Jade Chocolates products are dairy free?

Chocolate bars: Kuro Genmai, Krakatoa, Dragon's Breath, and Mahal. 

Confections: Chocolate Covered Ginger, Mangoes and Rice Paddies 

Truffles: Cookie Crunch, Sunflower, Mint Ginger Meltaway, Coconut Honey Meltaway, Peanut Buddha and Mango Jam

Are any of your products kosher? Are any of your products organic? Do you make any products that are sugar-free?

No, not at this time. We are looking into adding more products in the future so stay tuned!
