The word 'kuro' means 'dark' and 'genmai' means 'brown rice or unpolished rice' in the Japanese language. This bar was created for the dark chocolate fans who love the taste of our original milk chocolate Genmai Bar.

Great taste, so smooth!Enjoying some Krakatoa. Mmmm! Great snap off the bar. The lemongrass is bright and refreshing and I like the warming, lingering pepper finish. All enveloped in smooth, velvety chocolate.

Tasting Notes: This bar has a sophisticated flavor profile with a distinctively different start, middle and finish. Your first bite into the chocolate releases the crunch of the toasted sesame & is immediately followed by the smokiness of the tea. The finish ends with a gentle punch of the red chili in the back of your throat.

For wine drinkers, the Dragon's Breath bar pairs well with a spicy glass of red wine.

In the Tagalog language of the Philippines, mahal means 'love' & 'expensive'. In this context, it means 'love'. There are three aphrodisiacs in this bar, high cacao contect chocolate, ylang ylang, and cinnamon. The ylang ylang flower is native to the Philippines.
